About Kristin Rongve

Kristin grew up in Yellowknife and Saskatchewan before attending the University of Saskatchewan for her undergraduate degree and to complete her law school degree.

Because of the better weather, the landscapes that inspire her daily, and the friends and family she has on the island, Kristin moved to Nanaimo permanently in 1995. The main focus of Kristin’s work is in the area of family law but she also handles other civil court cases. She finds great satisfaction in helping people come to the best resolution possible in the most cost-effective manner. Knowing she’s helped people through a difficult time is a constant source of motivation.

Kristin’s Photography

Kristin is a self-confessed “inconsistent amateur photographer,” but humble as she may be the one thing her clients often comment on when visiting her office are the photographs on the walls. Her landscape portraits often feature what she likes most about Vancouver Island: the greenery, the hikes, the trees, and the ocean. Her other photos showcase what she has loved the most about her travels.
